A new-breed vocalist who infuses diversity and modern interpretation into his shows, John Minnock first gained popularity in Boston, and is now a fixture in the jazz and cabaret scene in New York City - including the stellar clubs Feinstein’s/54 Below and at Birdland. He is the recipient of the “Hot House Jazz 2016 Fans Decision Metropolitan Room Award” and the “2019 HotHouse/Jazzmobile Best Male Vocalist Award”.

John is releasing his fourth major album ‘Simplicity’ in May 2022 on Dot Time records (available at Dot Time, iTunes, Amazon, and Spotify), his second with the label (following “Herring Cove” also on Dot Time). On Simplicity, he is supported by a stellar rhythm section, and welcomes the return of both special guest National Endowment for the Arts Jazz Master and Grammy-nominee Dave Liebman, and legendary composer and EGOT-nominee David Shire, who provides a new song.
